Danish pianist Rasmus Sørensen has over the last few years garnered international renown for
his innovative yet accessible sound both as a musician and composer. After spending five years
in New York City eventually becoming one of the most in-demand jazz pianists there, he
relocated to Copenhagen in 2023 and is now involved in numerous projects, first and foremost
his own trio. During his stint in the US he released his debut album Traits in 2022 which was
nominated for a Danish Music Award and also got to perform his music at world-famous jazz
clubs such as Smalls, The Jazz Gallery, Café Bohemia, 55 Bar and Ornithology Jazz Club as
well as recording another album with Blue Note drummer Kendrick Scott and bassist Alex Claffy,
released on April Records March 15th 2024.

Simón Willson is a Chilean born, New York City based bassist, composer and improviser. As
an eclectic and in demand sideman, he has toured with a host of different musicians in Europe,
the US, Canada, and South America. His wide-ranging interest in different realms of Jazz,
popular, and improvised music has led him to work regularly with a diverse pool of established
artists such as Dave Douglas, Ethan Iverson, Jason Palmer, Jonathan Kreisberg, Pablo Held,
Frank Carlberg, Roxana Amed, the Mark Morris Dance Group, among many others. In addition
to his sideman work, he co-leads the bands Family Plan and Earprint. The latter won the “best
debut album” category of the NPR Music Jazz Critics Poll in 2016. In 2023 Orlando Furioso,
Vicente Atria’s septet in which Willson plays bass, won the Deutscher Jazz Preis in the “Best
International New Artist'' category. He can be heard on over thirty records for labels such
as Sony Music, Tzadik, Greenleaf, Steeplechase, Newvelle, Endectomorph, in addition to a
number of self-releases. His bandleading debut album “Good Company” was released October
13, 2023 on Fresh Sound Records. His Blue Note sideman debut “Technically Acceptable” by
Ethan Iverson recently came out in January, 2024.

Finn Wiest is a young drummer from Germany who is based in New York City. He just finished
his master’s degree in Jazz studies with drummer Carl Allen. His musicality and wide range of
stylistics made him a first-call sideman for a big number of jazz ensembles and recording
sessions in the NYC and Cologne jazz scene. He has collaborated and toured with musicians
such as Ray Gallon, Pablo Held, Florian Ross and Matthias Pichler. In 2022, he was part of the
National Youth Jazz Orchestra (BuJazzO) and member of the “Gutenberg Jazz Collective”.
In 2020, he was a finalist at the "Biberacher Jazzpreis" with the formation "Hat Trio" and
received the prize for the best composition at "Tremplin Jazz" in Avignon in 2022 with his own
quintet. As of early 2024, his discography includes „Wiedersehen“ with the Stefan Schöler Trio
(Unit Records, 2021), „Meet Me At The Loft” with Pablo Held (2022), and “Proyecto Colonia” with
Melissa Pinto (2022). Pablo Held describes his playing as “very tasteful and musical”.
